Highlights
Oplenac royal cellar (Topola): the late-19th-century private cellar of the Karađorđević dynasty, set beside the Church of Saint George. The most royal entry point into Serbian wine country.
Three winery tastings: from a small family estate to a mid-sized producer, you can compare side-by-side the indigenous Prokupac, the aromatic Tamjanika, and Serbian takes on international varieties.
Paired starters and main course: Serbian winery food is not haute French — it’s kajmak, grilled sausages, fresh-baked bread, sour cabbage. The most direct way into local flavour.
The Šumadija hill country: central Serbia’s most genuinely “wine-country” landscape — rolling golden hills, vineyards, and old stone-built cellars.
Pricing
All our day tours and half-day tours use a transparent four-tier rate (the larger the group, the lower the per-person price):
- 1 traveller (solo): €180
- 2 travellers: €110 /person
- 4 travellers: €85 /person
- 8+ travellers: €70 /person
Price includes vehicle, driver-guide, and the admissions and meals listed in the package. Children (12 and under) at 80%. A 30% deposit is required to confirm; the balance is settled on arrival.
Itinerary
09:00 Pick-up at your Belgrade hotel; drive south into Šumadija (~80 km).
11:00 Arrive Topola; tour the Oplenac royal cellar and the Church of Saint George.
12:30 First winery tasting (Aleksandrović or a comparable family estate).
14:00 Winery lunch (kajmak, grilled sausages, sour cabbage, with paired wines).
15:30 Second winery tasting (focused on Prokupac).
17:00 Third winery tasting and on-site purchase if you want to bring bottles home.
18:00 Drive back.
19:30 Return to Belgrade.
