Overview

A 4-hour evening — the 19th-century bohemian lane of Skadarlija, an 8-stop / 16-course Serbian dinner, a rakija flight, and live folk music.

Skadarlija Bohemian Street Night Walk + Rakija Tasting + Serbian Dinner

Highlights

Skadarlija — the bohemian street: a cobbled lane that drew poets, painters and journalists in the 19th century — Belgrade’s Montmartre, and the most atmospheric pedestrian quarter in the city after dark.

An 8-stop / 16-course Serbian dinner: from đakonija (a homestyle starter spread) to the headline Karađorđeva šnicla, paired with šljivovica. The Serbian dinner Chinese guests find easiest to enjoy — the rhythm sits close to a Chinese banquet.

Rakija tasting, 4–6 pours: Serbia’s national spirit, distilled from fruit — from šljivovica (plum) to klekovača (juniper) to komovica (grape pomace). One evening covers the heart of the country’s drinking culture.

Live Serbian folk music: tamburica strings, accordion, Balkan songs — a fixture of the European tour scene here, and especially good against the cobblestone-and-lantern backdrop of the lane.
