Route overview
Seven days, six nights across Shenzhen and Zhuhai, focused on AI, smart manufacturing and the speed of innovation in the Greater Bay Area. The itinerary is delivered jointly by BALKAN CHINA and partner organizations on the ground in China. We coordinate visits to the showrooms, production lines or experience centres of Baidu Apollo, the BYD History Museum, BGI Genomics, DJI, the Robotics 6S flagship store, Lenovo Southern Smart Manufacturing Base, GAC Trumpchi and Kingsoft, and add the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge sea tour. Specific visits are subject to confirmation; the route is fine-tunable to your industry focus.

Business-grade pace, with the city built in. Industrial visits by day; Huaqiangbei, the Nanshan tech park, Zhuhai's coastline by evening — you see the industry and the city it lives in.

7-day itinerary
D1 · Arrive Shenzhen. Pickup at Bao'an Airport, afternoon at Shenzhen Bay Entrepreneurship Plaza and Talent Park — getting a feel for the "Shenzhen Bay" startup atmosphere often compared to Beijing's Zhongguancun; check in to a 4-star hotel in Shenzhen.
D2 · Baidu + low-altitude economy. Morning at Baidu (campus visit, briefing, Apollo Go robotaxi ride); afternoon at the Low-Altitude Economy Pavilion (drone-operation demo and aviation-simulator experience).
D3 · BYD + BGI + Huaqiangbei. Morning at the BYD History Museum in Longgang, Shenzhen (2,000+ exhibits walking through 30 years of BYD's evolution); afternoon at BGI Genomics (showroom + expert briefing) and the Huaqiangbei electronics market ("China's #1 electronics street").
D4 · DJI + Robotics 6S store. Morning at DJI (showroom + RoboMaster + drone-flying experiences); afternoon at the Robotics 6S store (the world's first robotics-centred 6S flagship: humanoid-robot show + brain-control demo + human-vs-machine challenges).
D5 · Lenovo + GAC Trumpchi → Zhuhai. Morning at the Lenovo Southern Smart Manufacturing Base (smart-manufacturing showroom + desktop assembly line, capacity 16 million units / year); afternoon at GAC Trumpchi (showroom + final-assembly shop); evening transfer to Zhuhai by business vehicle, check in to a 4-star hotel.
D6 · Kingsoft + Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge sea tour. Morning at Kingsoft (welcome session, AI / VR interactive demos, expert Q&A); afternoon on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge sea tour (board a luxury cruiser at Zhuhai's Jiuzhou Port, 100 minutes across the main span, with photo stops at the Sun-Moon Shells and Jiuzhou Island).
D7 · Departure. Transfer to Zhuhai or Shenzhen airport; end of the 7-day tech-innovation programme.

Baidu. Founded 1999, a global AI and internet leader. ERNIE LLM is now at version 4.0; the Apollo autonomous-driving platform powers Apollo Go robotaxi services at scale. Visit flow: campus tour → briefing → themed interaction → robotaxi ride.
BYD History Museum. Located in Longgang, Shenzhen, built in BYD's former Tongle factory and marking BYD's 30th anniversary. Over 2,000 exhibits trace the journey from rechargeable batteries to becoming the world's top-selling new-energy-vehicle maker, including the Blade Battery, the e-platform and automotive-grade chips.
BGI Genomics. Founded 1999, a global leader in life sciences. Participated in the Human Genome Project; activities span scientific research, healthcare and agricultural breeding. Visit includes showroom and expert briefing.
DJI. The world's leading developer and manufacturer of drone flight platforms and imaging systems; named to Forbes China's "Top 50 Most Innovative Companies" in 2022. Visit includes showroom plus immersive RoboMaster and drone-flying experiences.
Robotics 6S store. The world's first robotics-centred 6S flagship store, integrating display, sales, service, training, R&D and customization. Visit includes humanoid-robot performance, brain-control demo and human-vs-machine challenges.
Lenovo Southern Smart Manufacturing Base. Located in the Lenovo Innovation & Technology Park; Lenovo's global smart-manufacturing mother plant for PCs, smart terminals and wearables, with capacity of 16 million units / year and 50 billion RMB of output. Visit includes the smart-manufacturing showroom and the desktop assembly line.
GAC Trumpchi. Listed on both A and H shares as part of GAC Group, a Fortune Global 500 company with 119,000 employees. Brands include GAC Honda, GAC Toyota, Trumpchi and Aion, covering the full ICE-to-EV spectrum. Visit includes showroom and shop floor.
Kingsoft. Founded 1988, one of China's earliest internet-software companies, with 16,000+ employees, listed on the HKEX in 2007. Industry leaders such as Lei Jun and Qiu Bojun started their careers here. Visit includes AI / VR interactive demos and expert Q&A.
Shenzhen Bay Entrepreneurship Plaza / Talent Park / Huaqiangbei. Three city-scale snapshots covering startup incubation, talent attraction and the electronics supply chain — the missing piece that explains Shenzhen's innovation culture beyond the household-name companies.
Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge sea tour. A 55-km sea-crossing complex billed as one of the "modern Seven Wonders". From Zhuhai's Jiuzhou Port a luxury cruiser crosses the main span twice over 100 minutes, passing 10 landmarks including the Sun-Moon Shells, Lovers' Road, Jiuzhou Island and Dolphin Tower.
